The KnifeForkScissorsMarket 2022 - Blades "Made in Solingen" at the LVR Industrial Museum Gesenkschmiede Hendrichs

Quality cutlery on more than 1,500 square meters

Solingen. On Saturday, November 5 and Sunday, November 6, 2022, the LVR Industrial Museum organizes the MesserGabelScherenMarkt in the original preserved factory rooms of the drop forge Hendrichs.

Solingen is the blade city of Germany. Numerous cutlery companies continue to produce a wide range of knives, scissors and kitchen accessories in the Bergisches Land region. Over 25 of these companies exhibit their products at the MesserGabelScherenMarkt - one of the largest markets of its kind in the region. These cutlery products "Made in Solingen" impress with their high quality and appealing product design. In addition to traditional kitchen knives and high-quality pocket knives, nail scissors and razors, the MesserGabelScherenMarkt also presents innovative and sustainable novelties from renowned manufacturers and small businesses. The wide variety of products offers something suitable for every purpose, every taste and every budget.

Visitor offer

Many of the exhibited cutlery items can be tried out on site and purchased at often low prices. Company representatives and exhibitors will be on hand to provide expert advice.

For a small fee, visitors can also have their dull knives professionally sharpened by the museum's repair sharpening shop.
