About the knife series
The knives in the Güde Alpha series feature elegant handles made from finely grained American walnut wood, which are secured with three stainless steel rivets and a decorative center rivet (aluminum palm rivet).
The hand-forged blades are made from a single piece of stainless chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel, ice-hardened and sharpened by hand.
Typical features of this series are the particularly high material strength achieved through the drop-forging process, the double bolster, and the full tang visible along the entire length, which guarantee perfect balance and safe, fatigue-free handling.
Manufactured in up to 55 manual steps, these knives combine traditional Solingen craftsmanship with the highest quality in design and function.

In classic use, the meat fork is particularly useful for turning large pieces of roast meat in a pan or roasting tin. The long, pointed prongs penetrate the meat effortlessly and allow you to handle it precisely without having to get your hands too close to hot fat or hot surfaces. When carving at the table, you can hold the roast securely while cutting even slices with the carving knife – giving you a professional appearance in front of your guests. The fork is also ideal for testing the doneness of the meat: carefully pierce the meat and check the consistency and the meat juices that come out.
Beyond its classic uses, the Güde opens up creative possibilities in the kitchen. Use it, for example, to cut up whole chickens or ducks by holding the joints in place and cutting them precisely with a second knife. The sturdy fork is an indispensable tool when preparing pulled pork or pulled chicken: it can be used to effortlessly pull the tender, cooked meat into fine fibers. The fork's length also offers optimal control when serving grilled vegetables, corn on the cob, or whole fish, protecting your hands from heat. You can even use the fork when serving pasta dishes to pick up spaghetti or tagliatelle in portions and drape them elegantly on the plate.
The high-quality workmanship and fine walnut wood make the fork not only a practical kitchen aid, but also a stylish serving utensil for festive occasions. Whether it's Sunday roast, Christmas goose, or a summer barbecue, this hand-forged tool adds a special touch to your table and demonstrates your appreciation for authentic craftsmanship and first-class materials.
