The Alpha series from Güde combines traditional blacksmithing with natural elegance: Each knife is forged from a single piece of CMV stainless steel, ice-hardened, and sharpened by hand—through up to 55 manual steps to achieve a hardness of 57–58 HRC and excellent edge retention. The handle scales, made from olive wood that is 100 to 500 years old, are triple-riveted, and their distinctive grain makes each knife a unique piece. The classic forged double bolster, together with the ergonomic handle design, ensures perfect balance and fatigue-free use. Important: These high-quality knives should be cleaned exclusively by hand to preserve the fine olive wood.
