About the knife series
The Alpha series from Güde combines traditional blacksmithing with the natural beauty of centuries-old olive wood. Each knife is hand-forged from high-quality CMV steel in up to 55 manual steps, ice-hardened, and sharpened—the classic double bolster ensures perfect balance and safety. The handle scales, crafted from olive wood ranging from 100 to 500 years old, make each knife unique thanks to their distinctive grain and impress with exceptional hardness and weather resistance. With a blade hardness of 57–58 HRC, the series offers outstanding edge retention and re-sharpenability for all demanding kitchen tasks. Note: Hand washing only recommended; not dishwasher safe.
