About the knife series
The Alpha series from Güde combines traditional blacksmithing with Mediterranean design: each knife is made from high-quality chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel in up to 55 manual steps, ice-hardened, and sharpened by hand (57-58 HRC). The handle scales made from 100 to 500-year-old olive wood make each knife unique – the particularly hard, strongly grained wood is not only visually appealing, but also very weather-resistant. The classic forged double bolster, together with the ergonomic handle design, ensures perfect balance and fatigue-free working. Important care instructions: Clean these high-quality knives by hand only to protect the fine olive wood.
