About the knife series
The Güde Delta series was developed for the 100th anniversary of the manufactory and combines traditional craftsmanship with modern design. Each knife is forged from a single piece of rust-resistant chrome-vanadium-molybdenum knife steel using a drop hammer and further processed and hand-sharpened in over 40 largely manual steps. The smoked oak handle scales are slightly raised and, together with the solid construction, give the knives an exceptional balance. The classic handle shape, which has been in use for over 100 years, makes cutting with Delta knives a special experience in any ambitious kitchen.

Since 1910 Franz Güde has been manufacturing Solingen knives by hand - over four generations. Each blade is forged, sharpened and individually tested by experienced blacksmiths.
What sets Güde apart: the combination of traditional bladesmith craftsmanship and the highest quality standards. Not a mass-produced product, but individually crafted tools from one of the last independent family businesses in the Solingen cutlery industry.
When you hold a Güde in your hand, you can feel the difference: precision, balance and durability that will give you a lifetime of pleasure at work.
The Güde Delta paring knife is a masterpiece of Solingen blacksmithing - made by hand from high-quality chrome-vanadium-molybdenum steel and finished in up to 55 manual steps. The razor-sharp, 9 cm long blade impresses with its high edge retention and durability; ideal for fine cleaning, peeling and precise cutting of fruit and vegetables. Each blade is made from a single piece of steel and is forged, ice-hardened and sharpened by hand using traditional methods, giving you a tool of exceptional precision and balance. The ergonomically shaped handle made of sturdy smoked oak offers a pleasant feel and gives the knife an elegant, unmistakable look. With its compact shape, the Delta paring knife guarantees perfect control, whether you are peeling potatoes, dicing onions or doing delicate work with herbs. Thanks to the elaborate, largely handcrafted production, you will experience uncompromising quality and a high degree of exclusivity - a real experience for discerning connoisseurs and professionals. Experience the combination of traditional craftsmanship, modern design and maximum functionality with the Delta series - a knife for all those who expect the best.
Pro tip:
When peeling or finely slicing vegetables, hold the Güde Delta paring knife so that you can guide the short, sharp blade precisely along the curves or edges - this allows you to effortlessly achieve precise cuts without crushing the food. For optimum control, we recommend working with small ingredients directly in your hand and slightly curling your fingertips to ensure maximum safety and precision.
The Güde Delta paring knife impresses with the highest quality workmanship, fine materials and its compact, handy shape - a Solingen masterpiece that will delight both professionals and discerning connoisseurs.
With its 9 cm long, precisely ground blade, the knife is particularly suitable for all classic tasks such as fine cleaning, peeling and precise cutting of vegetables and fruit directly in the hand or on the cutting board. You will experience effortless peeling of potatoes, golden-brown dicing of onions or lightning-fast chopping of garlic and herbs.
Thanks to the sharp, robust and flexible blade, you can also master creative tasks - such as coring peppers, delicate slicing of fruit for artistic cake decorations or forming wafer-thin vegetable slices for decorative salads. With the Delta paring knife, you benefit from extreme control and balance - ideal for demanding work such as finely filleting small mushrooms or chiseling carrots for garnishes.
The solid, ergonomically shaped handle made of exclusive smoked oak lies securely and comfortably in the hand at all times and ensures maximum elegance with its unmistakable grain. The Delta paring knife is therefore not only the ideal tool for everyday cutting tasks, but also invites you to experiment creatively in the kitchen. Experience uncompromising quality and exceptional versatility for your culinary art - every day anew.
