Use the tomato knife for its classic purpose: cutting ripe tomatoes into even, clean slices without losing juice or damaging the structure. The pointed serrations of the serrated edge effortlessly penetrate even the hardest skins and deliver perfect results for caprese, bruschetta, or decorative garnishes. But the knife can do much more: use it to precisely cut soft cheeses such as mozzarella, Camembert, or goat cheese without the blade sticking. Even delicate fruits such as peaches, nectarines, or plums can be portioned exactly without crushing the sensitive fruit.
Used creatively, the tomato knife becomes a real all-rounder in your kitchen: use it to cut fresh baguettes or crispy rolls without crushing the airy crumb. For baking enthusiasts, it is ideal for cutting cakes and tarts, especially those with soft bases or creamy fillings. The knife also shows its strengths when preparing antipasti – whether pickled peppers, soft eggplants, or marinated zucchini. You can even cut thin slices of citrus fruits for cocktails or desserts where precision and clean edges are required. The compact size and balanced weight also make the knife ideal for delicate work when garnishing and decorating your dishes.
